## The story

The student council spent a month folding paper snowflakes and blowing up a silver and blue balloon arch that leaned slightly left. Everyone posed under it for a professional photo with a fake snowy backdrop. The DJ played every group dance song twice. Girls carried their heels by ten o'clock, and somebody's corsage ended up in the punch.

## Fun fact

The balloon arch slowly deflated all night, so the last photos looked like everyone was posing under a sad silver noodle.
