## The story

Chameleon Chew came with a cartoon lizard named Shifty who wore a different color on every wrapper. The gum started green, went yellow, blushed pink and finally settled into a gray-purple nobody could name. Kids pulled it out to check the color every thirty seconds, which teachers did not appreciate at all.

## Fun fact

Blowing a bubble at the exact moment it changed color was said to grant one wish, limited to snow days.
