## The story

Circuit Sprouts Camp ran for two weeks in the middle school science wing. Kids built wheeled robots from snap-together kits, programmed them with drag-and-drop code blocks on tablets, and sent them through obstacle courses made of textbooks. Half the robots drove straight into walls. The final day was a robot dance-off, and the winner did the worm.

## Fun fact

One camper's robot was programmed to spin and beep whenever the counselor said the word snack, which was often.
