## The story

Critter Topper Cups came with a chunky plastic creature molded right into the lid, like a winking octopus, a sleepy sloth or a surfing cactus. The cup held fruit punch or soda, but nobody cared about the drink. Kids begged for the burger joint every week to complete the set. Some families still have a whole shelf of tops.

The rarest topper was a glow-in-the-dark jellyfish that only appeared in one week of the summer.
