## The story

Every week a cardboard box appeared on the porch with three dinners inside: little bags of spices, a single lemon, two chicken thighs and a glossy recipe card with step-by-step photos. It made everyone feel like a chef for exactly forty-five minutes. The recipes worked. The freezer, however, slowly filled with a mountain of reusable ice packs.
