## The story

The Glowguts made every bedroom feel like a spaceship. You could see its wires, buttons and tiny ringer bell through the clear shell, and when a call came in, the whole phone lit up purple, green and pink. Teens kept it on the nightstand like a lamp and waited for it to light up after nine.

## Fun fact

Owners slept with the ringer off and the lights on, so late calls silently turned the bedroom into a disco.
