## The story

Madame Mothball lived in a closet full of old coats and smelled, she claimed, like a cedar chest. Between movies she told terrible puns and fed her pet moth, Cornelius, a single sock. The movies were cheesy and black and white, but staying up for her sign-off shriek was the ultimate sleepover badge of honor.

## Fun fact

Cornelius the moth was a puppet on a fishing rod, worked by Madame Mothball's nephew.
