## The story

Teachers rolled out the TV cart for this one. Doreen, the new kid with the giant glasses, ate alone for twenty minutes of screen time before a boy named Russ offered half his bologna for half her pudding cup. Whole classrooms sniffled, and for about one week afterward every lunch table had an open seat.

## Fun fact

The pudding cup in the big scene was butterscotch, and the actress playing Doreen ate fourteen of them between takes.
