## The story

Onion Volcano Birthday parties happened at Sakura Flame, where the whole family sat around a sizzling steel grill. The chef stacked onion rings into a volcano and sent up a dramatic puff of steam. He flipped shrimp toward everyone's mouth, and the birthday kid always missed. Then the staff banged a drum and sang loudly.

## Fun fact

Kids who caught the flying shrimp on the first try were treated like celebrities for the rest of the school year.
