## The story

Otter Cam Overnight streamed a pair of sea otters, Pebble and Biscotti, floating on their backs wrapped in ribbons of kelp all night. People left it on as a night-light, and the live chat filled with heart emojis at 4 AM. Whenever one otter rolled over and drifted loose, thousands of strangers panicked together.

## Fun fact

When Pebble and Biscotti had a pup, the stream crashed from too many viewers saying hello at once.
