## The story

Peepers perched on top of the chunky monitor like a curious alien. Video chats looked like a slideshow of your cousin's face in different frozen expressions, and the lighting made everyone glow green. Teens covered it with a sticky note after a sibling claimed it was always watching. It was creepy, adorable and absolutely the future.

## Fun fact

Its little blue light was supposed to show when it was on, but everyone suspected it had secret plans of its own.
