## The story

Pineapple Wave Curls starred Chill, a chinchilla who surfed across the cereal box on a spoon-shaped board. The puffs were shaped like curling waves and turned the milk faintly tropical. Every box back had a beach scene where you could slide a cardboard Chill along a slot and pretend he was riding a giant wave.

## Fun fact

Chill ended every commercial by wiping out into the milk, and kids cheered louder for the wipeout than the wave.
