## The story

One kid came back from winter break with a pony bead lizard, and within a month the whole school was weaving them. You threaded beads row by row into a tiny body, four little legs and a tail, then pulled the cord tight. Kids took orders by color on the bus. Some backpacks dragged a whole lizard family behind them.
