## The story

The photo was supposed to be a lovely prom portrait by the lake. Instead, everyone noticed the goose paddling calmly in the background with a lily pad stuck on its head, staring directly at the camera. Within days it was edited into wedding photos, space pictures and school portraits. The couple eventually framed it with pride.

## Fun fact

Local geese suddenly got invited to photo shoots, and at least one wedding hired a goose as a backup photobomber.
