## The story

Shiver Sticks came in clear plastic sleeves that showed off glassy, see-through colors like aqua ice, glacier grape and pink crystal. They looked like gemstones and froze rock hard. Kids held them up to the sun to see through them before biting in. The aqua one was always gone first, leaving a bag of lonely pink ones.

## Fun fact

Biting the tip and sucking out the color left a clear ice tube that kids called a ghost pop.
