## The story

DJ Ricky Spinz rolled in with two speakers and a light box that pulsed rainbow squares on the bleachers. Everyone did the group line dances perfectly and the slow songs terribly. The snack table had pizza bagels and two-liter sodas. Kids snapped glow sticks into bracelets, and somebody always cried in the bathroom, happily or not.

## Fun fact

DJ Ricky Spinz was actually the eighth grade science teacher's nephew, and he only owned nineteen CDs.
