## The story

Spaghetti Glow Strips went up in every teen bedroom, stuck along ceilings, desks and bed frames. A little remote with a rainbow of buttons switched between colors, fades and a flashing mode that made the dog nervous. The adhesive gave up after about a month, so strips dangled like glowing spaghetti until someone added tape.

## Fun fact

The remote's party mode made any room look like a celebration, which is why it was usually on during homework.
