## The story

Somebody dumped a laundry basket on the floor, set a timer and filmed a frantic search for a matching pair. Within a week, families everywhere were doing it. Dads failed spectacularly. Toddlers held up two random socks with total confidence. The real winners were moms, who finally got the laundry sorted.

## Fun fact

No one ever found the missing sock from any challenge video, which fueled endless theories about where socks go.
