The story of The Platinum Flip
It had full signal in elevators, in basements and in the back row of the school bus. The battery icon never moved. Its owner sent ten thousand texts in one month and the bill arrived blank. Phone stores claimed it did not exist, which only made everyone want it more. Snapping it shut made a sound so satisfying that strangers turned around to look.
Fun fact
Its ringtone was a song nobody else had, and nobody has been able to find it since.
