## The story

The Thunderlow made the loudest grinding roar on the sidewalk, and that was half the fun. Stomp the pedal and you whipped into a spinout that left gray streaks on the driveway. Kids wore the front wheel flat in a single summer, then kept riding it anyway, thump, thump, thump.

## Fun fact

The steepest hill on every block had a legendary Thunderlow wipeout, and somebody's scab was the proof.
