## The story

Tie-Dye Tortilla Chips looked like someone had run a regular bag through the washer with a box of markers. Blue, red, yellow and purple swirled across every chip, and kids sorted them by color before eating a single one. The salsa was mostly ignored. The real joy was finding a chip with all four colors.

## Fun fact

A four-color chip was considered good luck before a spelling test, and some kids saved one in a pencil case.
