## The story

Velvet Avenue was the show your babysitter swore she wasn't watching while she very much watched it. Characters returned from long trips with new hairdos and new names, amnesia struck twice a season, and the doorman Reginald knew everything. Fridays always ended on a frozen close-up of someone gasping into a cordless phone.

## Fun fact

Reginald the doorman appeared in every single episode but never once opened the door for anyone.
