The story of Sunset Spike Kendama
Kendama crews took over skate parks and school hallways, and the Sunset Spike was the one everyone wanted. Kids practiced lighthouse, airplane and spike tricks for hours, filming every landing. The sticky paint gave a better grip, and the clacking became the soundtrack of recess. One clean spike earned instant respect.
Kids swore the ball felt luckier after being held up to a sunset, so plenty of backyards had a nightly ritual.
