The story of Fireplace Loop Channel
For a few winters, the coziest thing on TV was a log fire that never went out. Families streamed four hours of crackling flames during holiday parties, and apartment dwellers with no fireplace finally had one. Somebody always walked up to warm their hands on it, then laughed at themselves. The occasional pop was perfect.
Fun fact
A cat strolled past the fire exactly once in the four-hour video, and viewers waited hours to catch it.
