Chef Mei Tanaka drove a tiny mint camper van from town to town, slurping noodles at family restaurants, food trucks and one grandma's backyard. Every episode ended with her rating the bowl in slurps, from one to five. Viewers binged it with takeout on the couch, and the slow-motion broth shots made everyone instantly hungry.
