The story of Color-Matched Treat Table

Every wedding, sweet sixteen and baby shower suddenly had a candy buffet. Tall glass jars of all-pink or all-mint candy lined a table with striped paper bags and tiny silver scoops, carefully matched to the napkins. Kids treated it like an all-you-can-eat challenge. Grown-ups pretended they were just looking, then filled two bags each when nobody was watching.

Fun fact

The rule was one bag per guest, but the bags kept getting mysteriously bigger as the night went on.
