The story of Ugly Sweater Peppermints

Ugly Sweater Peppermints were the official candy of the holiday party where everyone wore something hideous on purpose. Each mint was stamped with a tacky knit pattern of reindeer, snowflakes or blinking lights, and they came in a tin covered in fake yarn pom-poms. Grandparents thought they were adorable. Everyone else thought that was the funniest part.

Fun fact

The tin's pom-poms fell off one at a time all season, and finding them around the house became a family game.
