Free layout sites offered thousands of designs: galaxy backgrounds, cherry blossom borders, leopard print with hot pink text. You copied a huge block of code, pasted it into your profile and hit save. Half the time everything turned black. The other half, you had accidentally learned to code. Parents were very confused.
