The story of Grandma's Dancing E-Cards
Once grandparents discovered email, the paper birthday card never stood a chance. Every holiday brought a link that took a full minute to load, then a cartoon turkey, snowman or groundhog danced across the screen to a beeping song. Grandmas sent them for birthdays, Tuesdays and the first day of fall. Kids clicked every single one, mostly out of love.
Most grandmas sent the exact same dancing snowman to every grandkid at once, and cousins compared notes for years.
