The story of Glowcupine Spin Wand
Every fair, circus and summer festival had a cart full of Glowcupine Spin Wands glowing like rainbow porcupines. Kids begged for one, waved it for an hour, and fell asleep holding it in the car. By morning the batteries were dead. They lived in junk drawers forever after.
Spinning it in front of a mirror made it look twice as magical and was considered entirely necessary.
