The story of Whoopsie Putty
Whoopsie Putty was the best way to embarrass a sibling in front of guests. Squash it between your palms and it made a noise that sounded exactly like what you think. Kids blamed the putty, and adults blamed the kids. It sold out of every school store until a ban arrived, as always.
Fun fact
Every tub came with a tiny folded card of excuses, like 'It was the putty' and 'Must be the chair.'
