The story · 2006
Lint Buddies were the grossest collectible on the shelf, and kids loved them for it. Each tiny fuzzball had googly eyes, a name like Navel Nate, and a backstory about whose belly button it escaped from. There were 120 to collect. The rare golden one was rumored to come from a sock that went to space.
Collectors stored them in old egg cartons, which badly confused grandparents looking for breakfast.
Six finishes
Lint Buddies comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
