The story of Lanyard Legends
Every summer camp had a picnic table covered in plastic lacing, and every kid came home with a lanyard nobody asked for. The box stitch was easy, the spiral was a flex, and the cobra stitch was for legends. Moms received at least six keychains per summer and proudly used every one.
Glitter lacing was traded like currency at camp, worth two packs of gum per strand.
