The story of Thimble Racers RC
Thimble Racers were so small they fit inside a bottle cap, and they zipped across countertops faster than you could follow. Charge for one minute at the tiny gas pump dock, race for three. Kids built tracks out of textbooks and drove them under the couch, where most of them still live today.
Fun fact
Racing on a glass coffee table made them slide like hockey pucks, which was considered an advanced technique.
