The story of Pocket Cactus Pal
Pocket Cactus Pal was the virtual pet for kids with a bad track record. One good shake a day watered Sir Spikesworth, the pixel cactus, and that was the whole job. Shake it extra and he grew a tiny pink flower. Forget him for a week and he just put on sunglasses and waited. Kids who wilted every houseplant finally had one that forgave them.
Fun fact
Shaking it during class looked exactly like shaking a dried-out pen, which made it the sneakiest pet in school.
