The story of Ask Ottilie Speaker
Families talked to Ottilie like a houseguest. She played songs, set kitchen timers and told terrible jokes on request. She also misheard constantly, so asking for dinner music sometimes produced a lecture about dinosaurs. Kids discovered she would say goodnight back, and the whole family ended up wishing her sweet dreams before bed.
Fun fact
Grandparents always said please and thank you to Ottilie, and she seemed to answer them a little more politely.
