The story of Binge Stick

The Binge Stick was smaller than a candy bar, but it ate entire weekends. Plug it into the TV, sign in, and suddenly the next episode started before you could get up. Families who swore they'd watch one episode found themselves at 2 a.m. arguing about whether to start season three. The little remote was always in the couch.

Its autoplay countdown gave viewers fifteen seconds to decide, and almost nobody ever reached the remote in time.
