The story of Hockey Puck Charger

The Hockey Puck Charger looked like the future: set your phone down and a little light glowed. The catch was precision. Nudge the phone a quarter inch and charging stopped. Owners woke up to dead phones, convinced they'd lined it up perfectly. Some stuck tape outlines on the puck like a parking spot, just to be safe.

Fun fact

A phone buzzing with a new text could vibrate itself right off the pad, which felt like a small betrayal every time.
