The story of Reachaloo Selfie Stick
The Reachaloo extended to arm-and-a-half length and turned every vacation photo into a group shot. Tourists waved them like conductor batons at fountains, monuments and concerts. A little button on the handle snapped the picture if it was paired correctly, which it usually wasn't, so most photos captured that exact moment of confused squinting.
Some museums banned them, so owners collapsed them into umbrella-sized tubes and pretended they were very small walking sticks.
