The story of Midnight Purple Moodbulb
With Moodbulbs, every bedroom became a nightclub, a sunset or a spooky movie set, depending on the mood. You picked a color from a wheel on your phone and the room changed instantly. Parents mostly used one setting: plain white. Teens cycled through every color at midnight, and the neighbors wondered what was happening behind the curtains.
Fun fact
When the app glitched, the bulbs sometimes switched to purple at three in the morning, and nobody ever explained why.
