The story of Belly-Button-High Jeans

After years of low-rise, the waistband climbed and kept climbing. Belly-Button-High Jeans were baggy at the thigh, light-washed and usually frayed at the ankle. Paired with a cropped tee and white sneakers, the look took over every hallway. Parents pulled their old jeans out of storage, and teens borrowed them immediately.
