Picture day in the 2010s was a battle between the photographer and the duck face. Kids had practiced the pursed-lip pose on their phones all summer, and they were ready to use it. The photographer kept saying normal smile, please. Some kids won. Most gave in. Every yearbook had at least three proud ducks.
Some photographers kept a rubber duck nearby to make kids laugh out of their duck face poses.
Six finishes
