The story of One Glitter Nail
Nobody could explain why the ring finger got all the sparkle, but suddenly every manicure had one. Nine nails were painted a calm blush or mint, and the tenth was buried in chunky glitter polish that took forever to remove. Moms did it, babysitters did it, and little sisters begged for it before every birthday party.
Glitter polish was so hard to remove that people wrapped their fingertips in foil like tiny baked potatoes.
