The story of Zero-Prescription Frames
Zero-Prescription Frames made everyone look like they had just finished reading a very thick novel. The rims were bold and black, and some pairs had no lenses at all, which led to kids poking a finger through to prove it. They looked great in photos. Eye doctors were confused when patients asked for glasses they did not need.
Kids with real glasses were annoyed to learn that what they had worn forever was suddenly trendy.
