The story of Dip-Dyed Ombre Ends

Ombre was the look of every summer camp counselor and every older cousin. Dark roots faded into honey, pink or blue ends, and nobody had to worry about touch-ups for months. Kids tried it at home with a bowl of dye and a towel, which left their bathroom looking like a sunset.

Some ombre fans dipped their ends in drink mix powder and walked around smelling like grape for a week.
