The story of Big-Eyed Owl Locket

For a while, owls were everywhere: on necklaces, notebooks, pillows and pajamas. The Big-Eyed Owl Locket hung on a long chain and had two sparkling rhinestone eyes that seemed to follow you around the room. Some opened to hold a tiny photo inside. Every aunt gave one as a birthday gift at least once.

Fun fact

Some owl lockets had eyes that glowed slightly in the dark, terrifying little brothers at sleepovers.
