The story of Cream Cheese Flavor Wall
Saturday mornings meant the Cream Cheese Flavor Wall, a frosty glass case of tubs in every color. You pointed, the guy behind the counter scooped a mountain onto a toasted bagel, and you instantly wished you had picked the other one. Kids went for cinnamon sugar. Dads went for onion chive and talked about it all day.
The shop kept a secret fifteenth flavor in the back, and regulars whispered that it was cookie dough.
