It started as a guessing game in group chats: describe your weekend using only tiny pictures. A pizza, a dog, a ghost and a crying face could mean almost anything. Kids got scarily good at it. Parents tried to join in and sent seven random fruits, which started a whole new mystery.
The hardest puzzle ever solved in one group chat was an entire fairy tale told with just eleven emoji.
