A family video showed a little boy watching his dad accidentally dump the croutons into the trash. He threw his arms up and wailed, why the croutons, with the drama of a stage actor. Within a week, everyone yelled it at every small disaster: a dropped cookie, a dead battery, a canceled field trip.
