Nobody ever figured out who started it, but suddenly every cafeteria table thudded with plastic. Kids debated the ideal water level like scientists. Landing on the cap was legendary. Teachers banned it, then quietly tried it during their lunch break. The sound of one perfect landing could stop an entire room.
